1. Overview

Glyphbreak (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application (iOS and Android) and web services collect, use, and disclose information when you play our cipher puzzle game, access our website, or interact with our services.

Glyphbreak is designed with a privacy-first, minimal-collection architecture. We do not require you to create an account with a real name, email address, or phone number to play the core game.

2. Information We Collect

A. Gameplay & Puzzle Data:

Anonymous device identifiers, completed puzzle IDs, solve times, and optional user-created cipher texts submitted to the community feed.

B. In-App Purchase Data:

Subscription and purchase transaction tokens processed through Apple App Store / Google Play Store and managed via RevenueCat. We never access or store your credit card or financial account numbers.

C. Advertising & Diagnostic Identifiers:

AdMob / Google Mobile Ads may collect device identifiers (IDFA on iOS subject to App Tracking Transparency consent, GAID on Android), IP address, and general device telemetry to deliver and measure ads.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We rely on trusted third-party services to deliver game functionality:

Google AdMob: Serves banner, interstitial, and server-side-verified rewarded ads. Governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
RevenueCat: Validates app store receipts and syncs subscription status across devices. Governed by RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.
Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run): Hosts our secure API for cipher generation, daily challenges, and reward validation.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Because we do not maintain personal accounts with credentials, gameplay data is stored locally on your device or tied to anonymous ephemeral tokens.

You can delete locally stored progress, settings, and cached ciphers at any time by deleting the application or clearing browser storage. To request removal of any community puzzle you authored, email us at the address below.

5. Children’s Privacy

Glyphbreak is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.
